Each grade is housed in its own bungalow. There is internet and computer access in each classroom with hardware featuring both Macintosh and PC platforms. The Computer Center contains twenty computers, several printers, a scanner and a variety of software applications. Next door is the Library which holds our lovely collection of approximately 3000 volumes, carefully chosen to reflect the many talents and interests of our students. In addition, each classroom contains various resource and literature books that relate to the curriculum of the particular grade level.
The Art Studio and Science Lab are located in a separate building "up on the hill". They offer a beautiful view of the surrounding canyon. Each space creates a wonderful learning environment designed and equipped for that discipline.
There are numerous play areas at Calmont. The physical education classes utilize the athletic field, the basketball, handball and tennis courts, and the swimming pool. During recess and after lunch play time, the students enjoy the different ball courts, the Ga Ga pit, the swings, the jungle gym, and the tree house.
