Each grade is housed in its own bungalow. There is internet and computer access in each classroom with hardware featuring both Macintosh and PC platforms. The Media Center contains twenty computers, several printers, a scanner and a variety of software applications and houses the Library which holds our lovely collection of approximately 3000 volumes. Carefully chosen to reflect the many talents and interests of our students. The collection is available to be checked out by both students and parents. In addition, each classroom contains various resource and literature books that relate to the curriculum of the particular grade level.
The Art Studio and Science Lab are located in a separate buildings. Each space creates a wonderful learning environment designed and equipped for that discipline. In addition there is an outside art area where students can work on projects that become too large or messy for their classrooms.
There are numerous play areas at Calmont. The physical education classes utilize the athletic field, the basketball, handball court, and the swimming pool. Students enjoy free play during recess and after lunch in the different play areas as well as the treehouse and amphitheatre.
